August 2025I presented a paper “Roles of Gender Essentialism in Gender Occupational Segregation: Education and Immigrant Generational Status at Work” (co-authored with Monica Boyd, Lei Chai, and Diana Singh) at the American Sociological Association annual meeting (Chicago).
April 2025I was awarded a SSHRC Insight Grant ($176,000) on a new project “Firm segregation of women, racialized people, and immigrants: New evidence from Canada”(Co-PIs: Monica Boyd and Feng Hou).
Jan 2025My co-authored article (with Max Stick and Feng Hou) “Immigrants’ Sense of Belonging to Canada: The Role of Source-Country Gender Inequality” was published in Journal of International Migration and Integration.
